Hello Everybody,
so glad to see you!

“The Demarest Co-op has been a wonderful school for both of my children. They have looked forward to going to school and have learned so much and become much more independent. The teachers are top-notch and are very experienced. My daughter graduated last year and is now in Kindergarten and was well-prepared and knew all of her numbers and letters. I also love that they have special guests for science, music, yoga and reading. The Co-op has a nice balance of everything – playtime, learning, music and arts. If you are looking for a preschool environment that is very loving and nurturing, yet still educational, I would highly recommend the Demarest Co-op!”

“Demarest co-op has been our son’s first school setting and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The warmth of the teachers, reinforcement of foundational skills and positive experiences happening daily make this a unique and special place. Our son happily attends and as a family we look forward to sending our other children there as well.”

“I highly recommend Demarest Co-op! My oldest graduated from the Co-op and now my youngest is in the program. Both children loved going to school every day and for both of them, it was their first school experience. The Co-op encourages everyone to be friends which is amazing and they know how to balance learning, music, playtime and extra activities such as weekly yoga, science or art classes. My oldest was fully prepared for kindergarten and had the foundation of loving school and making friends from the Co-op.”

“As an educator for over 12 years, I knew immediately that the Demarest Co-op was the right place for my children’s first school experience. The Co-op is truly unlike anywhere else in the area: a warm, compassionate, and nurturing environment filled with passionate educators who genuinely love what they do. From the moment you walk in, there is a joyful, nostalgic feeling of childhood: singing, art, play, felt boards, and happy children learning through meaningful experiences. Most importantly, children leave not only fully prepared for kindergarten, but with a true love of school and learning.

I had so many more things to say because I cannot say how much I LOVE this school. I could write even more!! It is really a special place. Thank you to everyone on staff. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to the best!!!”

“Demarest Coop is a truly unique experience. I’ve researched many preschool programs and the Coop stands out for employing exceptional teachers and team members who are truly invested in your child’s first school and friend experience. The coop is a nurturing environment that sets your child up for success. Fostering each child’s unique personality while teaching children to share and play with their classmates. I highly recommend Demarest Coop.iption goes here.”

“When we had our first son we would be up at the local park and would run into the sweetest children. I would ask where they attended preschool and the response was always the co-op, so of course we had to sign my son up!

My son started at the co-op two years ago, as a quiet and reserved child but through the co-ops supportive and nurturing environment he has blossomed. All of the teachers and aids feel like family. It’s always hard sending your oldest child off to preschool but the staff at the co-op eased our anxiety very quickly.

The program has allowed our son to grow emotionally, socially and academically. He had learned the importance of independence in daily tasks. He has built strong and respectful friendships with many lovely children. Academically, I am amazed by his progress – he knows all of his letters and can count to 100.

My son comes home happy each and every day and for that we are extremely thankful to be part of the co-op family.”

“Demarest Co-op truly feels like the best childhood. As soon as you walk through the doors, you can feel the joy and wonder of being a kid. The teachers are so special. They show each child so much kindness, and they genuinely do care about every child. They have so many different crafts and activities every single day, and the kids just have so much fun. It’s been invaluable to me knowing that my daughters were so well cared for and also that they were having the time of their lives. We will always be so grateful to the Co-op for giving our girls such a wonderful childhood experience.”

“We feel so lucky to have found such a special preschool in Demarest. Our daughter has been enrolled since since she was 2, and it’s been more than just a school, it’s been a community. The teachers are so warm, the curriculum is creative and thoughtful, and it feels like the kind of childhood I grew up with in all the best ways! We’re really going to miss it as we head off to kindergarten.”

“Choosing the Demarest Coop for our daughter has been one of the best decisions our family has made.

We are so grateful for the love, care, and dedication this school provides. From the moment our daughter joined, she has been nurtured, encouraged, and genuinely loved.

Every day she comes home excited to tell us about her friends, the music she sang, the yoga she practiced, the beautiful crafts she created, and all the fun activities that made each day special. Seeing her enthusiasm for school and hearing her joyful stories is the greatest gift a parent could ask for.

The kindness, creativity, and warmth these teachers bring to their classroom have helped our daughter grow in so many ways. You can truly feel the love and dedication. We will always be thankful for the ladies who make the CoOp so special and the school will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We are excited for year 4 and we will always recommend the Demarest Coop!”
